Get to know SCRAPS Designs.

Scraps Designs is a place and playmaking effort to bring creativity to public and shared spaces. Scraps uses repurposed materials, public participation, and constructive play to help citizens of all ages feel pride and ownership over their shared spaces with the ultimate goal of creating more equitable and human-centered communities.

Scraps is run by Jamie Pierson, a designer, installation artist, and library professional based in Tulsa, OK. Jamie received her undergraduate degree in Arts Management from the University of Tulsa, and her Masters of Urban Design from the University of Oklahoma. She is currently employed by the Tulsa City-County Library.
