This largely improvisational piece was painted on a piece of scrap wood that was used for years as a test surface and palette for adhesives and sealants, resulting in a unique texture. The simple shapes and lines contrast with the busy tactile surface. The warped shape of the wood brings the piece out from the wall, inviting the viewer to interact.
